Ostend Treehouse-Rooftop deck, Garage, Sleeps 8!

Was a great place. Very unique. Fit our needs perfectly. Host was very responsive. When our grill didn’t work they brought another one that night.

Great house, 1 minute walk to the beach, good view of the ocean from the rooftop balcony, great accommodations in the kitchen and friendly hosts!

The SD Sunset team was very professional and warm. They welcomed us and made sure we were oriented and knew where attractions and food were in the area. The office was nice, close, and run by friendly people. They always responded right away to questions and needs. We enjoyed the location and house and felt totally at home. We would definitely stay here again.

Location was great but home was not clean or stocked. Only a few cups and plates in the whole place. When we arrived the shower head was broken and taped. It fell off 1/2 way through the trip and was more of a pain to have someone fix it. Washer and dryer were filthy and did not work well at all. The location was prime, but for $450 a night was very disappointed in the above. If property management put a little work into the place, it would change everything.

I was very dissatisfied and grossed out by the condition of this property. Mice or rats got into our food. Not enough linens. Old wet stinky towels in the closet. No bbq utensils brush spatula tongs…. Coffee pot didn’t work. Pots and pans were in terrible scratched up shape! No direction where to put garbage. Garbage and dirty cups left in closets. Shower head broken. Dirty dishes in cabinet and dish washer didn’t clean well. No knobs on oven. Cabinet doors drawers didn’t open all the way or easily. Over all dirty! No hand soap in 2 bathrooms or kitchen. And no battery in smoke detector.

Good location if a fair amount of $ invested to clean equip and repair.

Location is amazing, the house was clean, the pictures don’t do the house justice at all. It was a lot nicer than we were expecting, 100% worth the value compared to other homew

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb!! Exceeded all expectations & the location was incredible. Outdoor spaces were great and the view from the rooftop patio was perfect for watching sunsets and enjoying the San Diego weather. Had everything we needed and the host was extremely easy to communicate with.

Great location but very poorly kept, house was dirty, beds were uncomfortable.

Fantastic location for the price. Walking distance to the beach and about a ten minute drive to seaworld. Loved having garage parking. House could use some updating and a deep clean. Bathroom door lock was broken as well as the back door but for the price it’s still a good deal especially if you’re not planning on hanging out there all day. I’d stay there again.

Awesome location, great outside space, large house, but could use decor updates and a good deep cleaning. It’s run by a management company so there are absolutely no personal touches that I often enjoy in an Airbnb. Photos are accurate though, so there were no surprises. If you plan to spend most of your time outside the house exploring San Diego, it’s a fine home base.

we enjoyed it stay in Mission Beach. the home is perfect in location AND had a two car garage... can't beat that in MB.

the house is a beach house... enough said. grand in the 1980s but a little run down now. you get what you pay for... and really you are just using it as a place to sleep while you go and take in all that MB and PB has to offer.

none of the rooms are private. the master bedroom is completely open to the living room below. the other room has a cut out in the wall to the stairwell area so light and noise pollution there.

PROs: cheap! location! free laundry facilities! quietish for MB! 3 toilets!!!

CONS: beds not super comfy, no privacy in the bedrooms, not much seating to relax on in common area.

Would I stay here again with my family? yes... because we aren't coming to play in a house... we are coming to play at the beach!!!

My frlends and I were able to really experience and browse the little town because of how close we were to everything; the beach, restaraunts, shops. Definitely will be coming back!!

This is simply an amazing spot. It’s centrally located to a few beaches. Mission beach is literally a couple blocks away. The bay is also a few blocks away on the other side. Cool setup, especially the rooftop deck that has a view of the beach. Coffee shop and surfboard rental shop a couple of blocks down. Def. going to rent this again in the future!

not that great- and was not clean. Ants everywhere, huge cockroaches, BBQ barely lit, fallen debris in the patio, tables were filthy, squeaky beds

This house is very unique compared to everything around it. The location is on point, and I would recommend.

This place is literally like a tree house. Such an interesting interior and a prime spot to watch all of the 4th of July fireworks from the roof top!
