Toulon Palapa – Cozy Beach Cottage, Steps to Beach/Bay, Parking!

It was the perfect stay for a 4 day trip. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, the amenities were great. the location next to the beach was perfect. Host was responsive and friendly. I would stay here again.

Had a great weekend enjoying the home, the beach and the neighborhood.

The location was great - steps to the beach and bay with plenty of restaurants close by. The A/C unit in the master bedroom was a wonderful surprise! We were able to check in early - Mitch was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a fun family vacation!

Great location, had everything we needed!

Great location, you are 100 steps to the sand! Stayed here with 6 adults, it was cozy but we really only slept here so it wasn't a big deal to us. Nice to have a 1 car garage. The house needs some updating but it works.

Only negative, having to pick up/drop-off a key at the rental office.

Great location. It is what to expect from an SD beach house. I would happily rent again. Also, the people at the rental office were wonderful.

Great place, very clean, and walking distance to everything you need in PB. Couldn't ask for a better place so close to the beach!

Great location!

Cute little house in a prime location! Don't let the reviews about the small garage scare you, I was able to find street parking on the main street easily. The place has everything you need and then some, like a washer/dryer and pots and pans to actually be able to cook a meal. The host/office is very helpful and when I couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV someone came right away. It's a very walkable neighborhood with good places to eat and steps from the ocean. Some of the furnishings are well-used, but everything (towels, bedding) was clean.

Amazing location steps out to mission beach. Overall good value for money. Just a heads up that parking is rather difficult and space is extremely tight. As well, you need to pick up keys at their rental office before 5pm so keep that in mind if you were planning to arrive late.

The photos don't do this place justice. It's adorable. Beautiful, comfortable, clean and safe spot with friendly neighbors. Had everything we needed for a great vacation. Would definitely stay there again.

just a block from the beach and about 2 1/2 blocks to the bay. Loved the outside patio/courtyard where we spent most of our time while at the house. We thought we wanted to stay right on the beach, but this was actually better, we didn't have to have all the foot traffic walking by!

It’s all about the perfect location with this property! Classic Mission Beach experience. The cottage itself is clean and has everything you need.

Location can’t be beat. Inside is a basic beach crash pad and offers what you need to enjoy your visit.

The convenience of being able to go back and forth from the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed, it slept 6 comfortable and having the two full bathroom was excellent. It does need some upgrades, but everything was good. Also Mitch called us on the day we were suppose to check in and told us that we could check in early and also allowed us a late check out. Thanks Mitch.

It was awesome to be that close to the ocean. The convenience of being able to go back and forth from the beach to our place was amazing. It was great to have a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The beds were comfy, the place was cool, and it had everything we needed. Sure it could use updating, but overall we’re happy. Also Mitch was super responsive through it all and accommodating for our last second need of a late check-in.

This was a great place to stay at. Great location, can walk to boardwalk and go left or right for some great destinations. The home is very comfortable and has lots of stuff you may forget to bring. I would bring ear buds for those sleeping in the guest bedroom or living room area, the heater when winds down has a ticking noise that is common for those type of units. Otherwise this was a great location and would recommend it.

San Diego Sunset was a great host! They had fast responses to my questions and I had a lot. I will definitely rent through them again and I would recommend them for sure. This little cottage had everything we needed and it was close to the beach. We were able to fit our Ford Explorer in the garage (it was tight but fit) which made it even more better and convenient for us.
