We had a fantastic stay in San Diego. Great house and amazing location.

Kudos to the host for their considerate and prompt assistance when booking. The property was perfect for our family of 7, clean and comfortable. We especially loved the location right on the beachfront. It did take a little bit of maneuvering to get our mini van into the garage space but it is doable. Exceeded all of our expectations.

WE WOULD ABSOLUTELY STAY HERE AGAIN! You cannot beat the location of this home - and it is so much better than the photos show! It’s steps from the beach, bars, restaurants, shops, everything you could need. We did not have to use our car once! The hosts were responsive and the check in office is right down the street, which makes it very accessible. There was PLENTY of room for 10 people, and all 3 bedrooms are a good size. The kitchen is huge with lots of counter space, and there is a gas grill (with propane tanks provided) on the back porch! There is also a fire pit on the porch which made for some evenings.

The only things I would note were:
1) 2 cars did not fit in the garage with the door closed, only 1 did. The one side of the garage is shorter than the other, and our car (small Subaru) did not fit there with the door closed.
2) The WiFi was broke, but I’m sure this is something they’ll fix before the next guest!
3) There were not free bikes available as advertised.

Overall, very minor issues and the amazing location, cleanliness of the home, and overall great experience made up for these things!! Thank you!!

This house and host was amazing! Honestly, the pictures don’t do the house justice. The views are a lot better than I expected & the house was so much nicer! Host was very responsive. We had some questions & they came down to help us out super fast! One thing to know, the garage. We had a GMC Yukon that we were able to squeeze into the left side but the right side, you’ll be lucky to fit a smaller car. Other than that, the house absolutely exceeded my expectations! My group had an amazing time!

The place is perfect if your looking for a great time right next to the beach everything is within 15 mins away for the most part wonderful service as well. Did not want to leave beautiful place.

Great location. Great hosts. Great amenities. Couch was really good. No complaints about the stay!

Lots of positives: Excellent location! Right at the beach, a short walk to several restaurants (bakery for breakfast; taco, pizza, and bars for lunch and dinner), a bike rental place, and we even walked to the bay side to rent paddleboards and kayaks! Each bedroom is on a separate floor, which offers some privacy, except for the 2nd floor which is next to the kitchen and living room. But worked fine as a kids room. There were boogie boards, skim boards, sand toys, and some beach chairs that we were able to use. Kitchen had plenty of plates and cups to accommodate a big family meal. And the outdoor shower had hot water, so you can get most of your sand off without freezing!

Some negatives (or at least things to be aware of): Garage is only big enough for one car (it did fit our minivan) and bikes and surfboards (maybe you could squeeze a Mini in the second space). Street parking is super hard, but there are a couple small pay lots including one that allows overnight. Some millennials were having a party next door Saturday night, but you kind of have to expect that at the beach. Be prepared to sweep a couple times a day as the floors get dirty and sandy. Again, expected at the beach, but they were also like that when we first arrived. Beds were very clean, though.

Negatives are minor compared to the location. Hard to beat! This was cheaper than other places along the beach that we looked at, so overall good value.

Great location right at the beach. Very walkable with multiple restaurants and cafe's to eat. If you want to get in your car there are many great places to see in SD!

Great location with a view of the ocean. The host was accommodating when it came to check in, and my group was able to get into the place while I was still working. I would definitely stay here again!

Location is perfect!!! Right next to the beach boardwalk, great restaurants, and things to do are walkable or accessible via bike/scooter rentals. Check in was easy & located within a two minute walk to the property. We didn't have cars but having access to parking in the garage would have been convenient bc there didn't seem to be much street parking available. We did rent over a holiday weekend so the neighbors were a bit noisy late into the night, probably not the case on regular weekends/week nights. The property offers daily rentals of beach towels, chairs, bikes etc. - we didn't utilize but nice to know you don't have to stuff beach towels in your bag when packing. The property was just as described, and the location is great for exploring the local area or just relaxing on the ocean.

Perfect location! This is situated on a great stretch of Mission Beach. We didn't need a car - just walked or took short Lyft rides to anything we wanted to do. It's one house back from the boardwalk so you get all the convenience of being on the beach without all the boardwalk folks looking in your windows 24x7. It's quiet, relaxing and you can hear the ocean at night with the windows open. It might take some effort to get two cars into the garage and I don't think any long SUVs would fit, but you won't be using a car here much anyway. Next time we visit San Diego, we will stay here again!
